Pennsylvania tax collections come in lower than expected in November (PennLive)

December 3, 2012 – The state Department of Revenue issued its November revenue collections report showing that for the month, tax collections were $1.7 billion, or $23.1 million, or 1.4 percent, less than anticipated. But because of greater than anticipated revenue collections in preceding months, the state’s general fund collections stands above estimate. Revenue Secretary Dan Meuser reported collections for the fiscal year that began July 1 total $9.8 billion, which is $59.1 million, or 0.6 percent, above estimate, to support the state’s $27.7 billion general fund budget.
